Any idea of Clint Eastwoods “genteel” knee length whitish coat in The Good , The Bad & The Ugly ? Have taken many notes, made sketches and taken reference photos of this . Cannot determine fabric . Question the two slanted pockets above the breast area , either side . Possibley ,because of the excessive high split in the back, this garment could be a “riding coat ” – dosen’t seem very utilitarian . Have found ventage coats , similer to this, but not exact . Also , the panama “plantation hat” . Found one at Knudsen Hat co , so the coat is my intrest .

Thanks for the feedback, Jack! I plan on re-watching the original Man With No Name trilogy very soon, as someone else has expressed interest in seeing Colonel Mortimer’s attire from For a Few Dollars More. I’ll also work on Clint in TGTB&TU, and I’ll try and track down as much original information about the costumes as possible!
